About the Design Studio
Design Studio is a free, simple design editor that runs in your browser. Pick a size, start from a template or a blank page, and add text, photos, shapes and QR codes. Drag things into place, then download a PNG or JPG for social media, or a print-ready PDF at the real paper size. No watermark and no paid “pro” templates.
How to use it
- 1 Choose what you are making, such as a YouTube thumbnail, poster, invitation or business card, or pick a template.
- 2 Click any text to change it, drop your photos on the grey frames, and add more text, photos, shapes or a QR code from the Add tab.
- 3 Press Download and choose PNG or JPG for screens, or PDF for printing. Your design is saved in this browser as you work.
Frequently asked questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Every template, font and size is free, downloads have no watermark, and there is no paid plan. Your designs are made in your browser, so nothing is uploaded unless you sign in and save to your account.
What sizes can I make?
YouTube thumbnail (1280×720), YouTube channel banner, Facebook cover, Facebook and Instagram post, Instagram portrait, story, LinkedIn banner and X header for screens. For print: A4 and A3 posters and flyers, 5×7 inch invitation cards, 3.5×2 inch business cards and A4 certificates. You can also type any custom size.
Can I print what I make?
Yes. Download a PDF and it comes at the real paper size, for example 3.5×2 inches for a business card or A4 for a poster, at 300 dpi, which is what print shops ask for. Leave a little space around the edges, because printers trim slightly.
Can I change the size later?
Yes. Press Resize and pick a new size. Everything is scaled to fit and centred, and full-width bands and photos stretch to the new edges. Tick “Make a resized copy” to keep the original too, for example to turn a poster into a Facebook post.
Does it work with Bangla?
Yes. It has Bangla fonts (Hind Siliguri, Noto Sans Bengali, Noto Serif Bengali, Baloo Da 2 and Tiro Bangla) and Bangla templates such as শুভ বিবাহ invitation cards, a সনদপত্র certificate and a visiting card. Text typed in Bijoy should be converted to Unicode first.
How do I highlight a word in another colour?
Put stars around it, like *SALE*, and it is drawn in the text layer’s highlight colour. Pick the highlight colour in the Edit tab.
Where are my designs saved?
In this browser, automatically, as you work. Open them again from My designs. Sign in to also save designs with their photos to your free account, so you can open them on any phone or computer.
Are my photos private?
Yes. Photos stay on your device. Only if you sign in and press Save to account are they stored in your account, where only you can open them.
Can I use any photo or font?
The fonts are open-licence fonts that are free for commercial use. Only use photos you own or have permission to use.
