About the Resume Builder

Resume Builder makes a professional resume or CV in your browser. Fill in your details, pick one of 8 templates and see every page update as you type. Download a real PDF with selectable text that job portals and applicant tracking systems (ATS) can read, with no watermark and no payment at the end. A built-in checker points out what to improve, and the job match shows which words from a job advert your resume is missing.

How to use it

  1. 1 Fill in your name and contact details, then your work experience, education and skills. Press Sample to see a finished example.
  2. 2 Open Design to choose a template, colour, font and paper size (A4 or US Letter). Open Check for tips and to compare your resume with a job advert.
  3. 3 Press Download PDF. Your resume is saved in this browser as you type, so you can come back and change it later.

Frequently asked questions

Is this resume builder really free?

Yes. Every template, colour and font is free, and the PDF downloads without a watermark. Many resume sites let you build for free and then ask for money to download; this one never does.

Can job portals and ATS read the PDF?

Yes. The PDF has real, selectable text in standard fonts, with your name, links and skills stored in the file, so applicant tracking systems can read it. One-column templates such as Modern, Classic, Minimal, Compact and Traditional CV are read most reliably by job portals.

Is there a Bangladesh or India CV format?

Yes. The Traditional CV template has a “Curriculum Vitae” title, a passport-size photo, a career objective, an education table with results, personal details (father’s and mother’s name, date of birth, NID, address) and a signed declaration. Press Sample and pick the CV example to see it filled in.

Should I add a photo?

It depends on the country. In Bangladesh, India, the Middle East and much of Europe, a photo is common. In the US, UK, Canada and Australia, employers usually prefer resumes without one. Turn the photo on or off in Design.

Is my information private?

Yes. Your resume is made and saved in your browser and is not uploaded. Only if you sign in and press Save to account is it stored in your free account, where only you can open it, so you can edit it on another device.

Can I write my resume in Bangla?

Yes. Bangla text shows in the preview and the PDF. Text typed in Bijoy should be converted to Unicode first with the Bijoy to Unicode converter.

Should my resume be one or two pages?

One page is best for students and people with under 5 years of experience. Two pages are fine for longer careers. The page count is shown above the preview, and the Compact template, smaller text and tighter spacing all help it fit.

Can I make more than one resume?

Yes. Press My resumes to keep several versions, for example one for each kind of job, and to duplicate, rename or delete them. You can also save a resume as a file to keep a backup, and open JSON Resume files from other tools.
