About the Quotation Maker

The quotation maker builds a formal price quotation or estimate: your business and the client, a subject line, items with units and rates, discount and tax, numbered terms and conditions, your signature and stamp, and a space for the client to accept. When the order comes in, turn it into an invoice or a delivery challan in one click.

How to use it

  1. 1 Fill in your business and the client, then the subject and how long the prices are valid.
  2. 2 Add items with their unit, quantity and rate, then any discount or tax.
  3. 3 Edit the terms, add your signature, and press Download PDF / Print.

Frequently asked questions

What should a quotation include?

Your business details, the client’s name and address, a quotation number and date, how long the prices are valid, each item with its quantity, unit and rate, any discount and tax, the total, and the terms: delivery time, payment terms and warranty. A signature from someone who can commit the business makes it more formal.

What is the difference between a quotation and an invoice?

A quotation is an offer: it tells the client what the work or goods will cost before they agree, and it is not a request for payment. An invoice asks for payment after the client has agreed. Press Make invoice to turn an accepted quotation into an invoice with the same items, discount and tax.

How long should a quotation be valid?

Usually 15 to 30 days. Choose shorter for prices that change often, such as steel, cement or imported goods. The valid-until date moves with the quotation date unless you set your own.

Is a quotation legally binding?

Once the client accepts it in writing, a quotation can form a contract, so state your terms clearly. This tool is not legal advice; check local rules for large or public-sector contracts.

How do I save the quotation as a PDF?

Press Download PDF / Print, then choose Save as PDF as the printer. Only the quotation is printed, on A4 or US Letter, and the text stays sharp and searchable.

Is my data saved?

Only in this browser. Nothing is sent to our server. The last 20 quotations are kept under Recent, and Save file gives you a copy you can open on another device.
